Abstract:Aiming at the problem of high angle dropping of a certain type of self-propelled howitzer operation training howitzer, an improved design scheme of a new type of operation training bomb is proposed. The reliability of cartridge jamming was analyzed by comparing the factors that may lead to the reduction of cartridge jamming force and the resistance of ammunition ramming, and the causes of the problems were found out, and some measures were put forward, such as using split projectile body design, adding slider locking mechanism, changing the material of guide belt, and further optimization was made on the original basis. The verification results show that the operation of the new type of operation training ammunition is more convenient and simple, and the unloading efficiency and operation reliability are further improved.
