For achieving the principle, using the method of positive and negative ideal point distance to evaluate the operational effectiveness when the model is built. Firstly, the model for evaluating based on positive and negative ideal point is given; then, weapon systems operational effectiveness of three emblematical guns is analyzed, the evaluation result of operational effectiveness educed. The method has the merit that the differentiation degree is palpable and can improve the reliability of evaluation.
