Abstract:In order to accurately reconstruct the 3D face shape, a new face shape reconstruction system based on non-Lambertian PSFS method is designed. The Oren-Nayar model is applied to depict the face reflectance property and the camera obtains a gray image of the face which is illuminated by a light source located in the center of entrance pupil of the lenses. The gray image irradiance equation of the face is formulated under perspective projection. Then, the irradiance equation is transformed into a Hamilton-Jacobi partial differential equation (PDE), which is solved by the established numerical algorithm and the 3D face shape is reconstructed and verified. Experimental results demonstrate that the designed system can get higher reconstruction accuracy.
