According to the characteristics of conventional ammunition production, through the analysis of the design safety technology of conventional ammunition at home and abroad in recent years, the paper focuses on 3 aspects: design safety technology of insensitive ammunition, design safety technology of fuse, and design safety technology of warhead. Sum up the future development direction of China’s conventional ammunition design safety technology. This study is important for the improvement of the safety technology level of convention ammunition in China.
