Abstract:Aiming at the deformation of the transmission system of the weapon station of the Gatling machine gun under different firing rates, the transmission system of the weapon station of the Gatling machine gun with high firing rate is studied. The weapon station model of the Gatling machine gun was established, the main structure of the bracket was simplified as a rigid body, and the transmission system was regarded as a flexible body to establish the rigid-flexible coupling dynamic model, the mode of the weapon system and the deformation of the transmission system under different radio frequencies were simulated, and the influence of the deformation of the transmission system under different radio frequencies on the firing direction dispersion was analyzed. The results show that the barrel vibration deformation is the main factor affecting the firing direction dispersion at low firing frequency, and the effect of the transmission system vibration deformation on the firing direction dispersion increases gradually at high firing frequency above 4 000 rounds/min, and the transmission system vibration deformation can not be ignored at high firing frequency.
